Are you a ‘Good’ Physical Education teacher looking for a new challenge? If you are and you possess Qualified Teacher Status, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

The school I represent is based in the North Yorkshire area and are looking for a passionate and hard-working teacher to work within the Physical Education department. The department is well-resourced with very modern facilities. Achievement has been solid and consistent over the last few years.

It is essential you can teach both practical and theoretical PE and would be advantageous if you have experience teaching both BTEC Sport and GCSE PE. You will need to be prepared, organised and have a flair for teaching practically in a classroom environment, engaging students of differing abilities. You must be willing to contribute to lunch time extra-curricular activities that the department run. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a ‘Good’ PE department.

The successful teacher will work with a team of PE specialists. You must have experience teaching KS3 and KS4 core PE, have a good knowledge of examination courses and the ability to enthuse all students to progress rapidly. The school will provide you with a chance to challenge and develop your ability and provide new opportunities to assist with career progression. You will be able to access the CPD programme that the school offers, developing your teaching methodologies further.

This is an exciting prospect for either an experienced teacher or NQT, wanting to work within a school that seeks to ensure that all the children and young people they serve are given the skills and knowledge required, in order for them to make informed decisions about their chosen career pathway.

To be considered for this position of Physical Education teacher you must:

*Have experience teaching KS3 & KS4
*Manage coursework and exam preparation
*Plan and deliver inspiring, differentiated and engaging lessons
*Ensure that all students work their hardest to achieve the highest results
*Hold QTS or a recognised UK teaching qualification

As part of the Capita team you will benefit from:

*Excellent opportunities for CPD Training
*Opportunity to join our Team-Teach training scheme as applicable
*The support of an experienced/dedicated secondary consultant
