Clearwater is the UK’s leading independent water treatment and water hygiene service provider. Due to our continued growth in the South we are looking for a Pumps Engineer to join our highly successful team.
The Role – The successful applicant’s job role will include.

• Servicing/installation of water booster systems.
• Fault finding.
• Routine maintenance.
• Installations of domestic, commercial industrial and water utility systems.
• Setting up and commissioning of new equipment.
• Pipework Modifications.
• Site Surveys and on-site risk assessments.

The Candidate – The candidate would have experience working on the following types of equipment:

• Booster pump sets.
• Pressurisation units.
• All manufacturers of water pumps.
• Programming of inverter drives.
• Pump Repairs (seal and bearing changes etc.)
• Foul / Surface water pumping stations.
• Hart & Pod (Underground water booster stations)

Requirements

• Qualifications in electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Good electrical understanding, ideally with 17th edition qualifications.
• Proven ability to fault find in a range of demanding environments.
• CSCS card, not essential.
• Confined space trained an advantage but training can be provided.
• Full clean UK drivers licence.

Please note out of hours working (including weekends and bank holidays) will be required to cover call outs and planned work, at the applicable rates of overtime.
