NHS Professionals is the leading provider of managed flexible workforce services to the NHS with more than 60,000 general and specialist nurses, doctors, midwives, allied health professionals, administrative and other healthcare professionals signed to its bank, supporting a number of NHS client Trusts across the UK.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an interim HR Project Advisor to support an ongoing transformational change project.

Reporting to and working closely with the HR Business Partner, you will work with senior managers from within the Finance Directorate supporting 3 work-streams as part of an overall larger Finance project to bring outsourced finance processing services ‘in-house’.

The 3 HR work-streams will involve recruitment, TUPE and an office relocation consultation process. You will need to have one year’s experience and a good understanding of recruitment; including writing and developing job descriptions, advertising, shortlisting and carrying out pre-employment checks.

Generalist HR experience and an understanding of recruitment assessment centres, consultation processes and TUPE legislation will be a strong advantage.

Due to the simultaneous HR work-streams as part of this overall project, you must be able to manage your own workload and conflicting priorities, have the ability to work on multiple projects at any one time with limited supervision and have a good attention to detail.

The role will be based from our Tingley office with the opportunity to work from home on days where office presence is not required. During key weeks or milestones of the project, office presence or attendance at meetings/recruitment events may be required 5 days per week.

As part of the induction process, the successful applicant will be required to spend some time at our Watford Office for training. Hotel and travel expenses will be covered by NHS Professionals for these periods and it is not envisaged that this will be for more than two/three weeks.

Please note, given key milestones and timescales in the project plans, unfortunately the successful candidate will be restricted on what annual leave they are able to book during the months of July and August 2016. Dependant on workload and progress on key actions, some periods of annual leave up to one week may be possible during these periods.

Interviews will be conducted w/c 5th May or 9th May 2016.

In addition we offer very competitive terms and conditions which includes an attractive basic salary offering progression for exceptional performers, access to a stakeholder pension scheme, 27 days annual leave per year plus public holidays. In addition other benefits offered include health and well-being support, access to a discount scheme and an employee recognition scheme.

Please note that in 2010 NHS Professionals moved to Limited Company status and therefore Agenda for Change terms and conditions are not applicable to this role.

We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if sufficient applications are received.

Correspondence for all vacancies will be via the email address you have used to register on NHS Jobs. Unsuccessful applicants will be contacted via their NHS Jobs account within 14 days of the vacancy closing.
