About Way Ahead Care
Way Ahead Care is an established and friendly family-run business whose commitment and dedication to providing the best possible adult homecare is second to none. Our Service Users live in Bath, Keynsham, and local suburbs and we are looking to expand our team of carers to work within these areas.
About the Role :
Our service is run between the hours of 7am and 10pm across 7 days a week. Our carers deliver home care by undertaking tasks including helping people to get up in the morning, washing, bathing, dressing, toileting, meal preparation, assistance with mediation and bedtime routines. You will have a two week working pattern, which will be created to fit around your own personal circumstances and the company’s requirements, to include alternate weekend hours. This pattern is known as your ‘Availability’ and will be recorded as your normal hours and repeats every two weeks.
Rates of pay:
£9.15 per hour Monday to Friday
£10.06 Saturday
£11.43 Sunday
£9 per hour for travel time and mileage paid at 40p per mile Additional enhancements can be gained through qualifications, experience or specific responsibilities
About You :
No experience is necessary as we provide a full and comprehensive training programme, delivered by our in-house training department, along with continued support and guidance in the role. We are looking for friendly and caring individuals who have a strong work ethic to provide consistency of service delivery to vulnerable adults. You will be required to hold a full UK driving licence and access to motorised transport
