I am a disabled professional with many years experience of recruiting carers, managing carers and being 'cared for'. I now put this experience to good use by helping other patients who might be new to the care system or just daunted by the whole recruitment and staff management aspects of care, whether using their own funds or handling a social care fund. My services can be helpful for the newly diagnoses, the chronically sick, people in rehabilitation phases or end of life, , whether children, adults, or the elderly. Or it might be just for carers who need extra support or respite care they can trust for their loved ones.
I can help with funding applications, securing funding, assessing actual care needs and developing care plans. I can then turn these into job descriptions so from the outset you get the right candidate with the skills and expectations to meet your exact needs. I then write and place the adverts and seek applicants on a very personalised basis. Because I screen and conduct a pre-interview, the cared for person and their family only have to speak to one of two very closely matched carers - making the whole process much easier on people already dealing with the upheaval of ill health.
Unlike care agencies, I make a fair charge for the planning, ad placement and screening process, but do not take a percentage of your wages. So all in all, your care budget goes further - and you get less hassle when it comes to employing the carers you need.
