Accounting Officer TH-Bangkok

Role:
As an Accounting Officer you will work as part of a team supporting the business with financial accounts, accounting controls and tax.
Responsibilities:
Financial Accounts
- Check outstanding cash advance upon staff resignation
- Review and approve travelling expense report
- Maintain and control over fixed assets register
- Issue and control over invoices, tax invoices, receipts
- Maintain accounting records including journal entries
- Correspond with local accounting professionals and auditors for all statutory financial reporting
- Implement accounting structure, and accounting system to support management report and Hyperion
- Identifying and communicating issues to the Manager
Reporting
- Prepare financial closing, reporting packages and accounts reconciliation
- Prepare Daily Asset & Daily Liability Report for cash monitoring purpose
- Prepare currency trade report
- Prepare detail reports to support manager on the quarterly Balance Sheet review with FC and CFO
Tax
- Review completeness and correctness of reports prepared by professional services.
- Provide tax team with accurate information for the purpose of tax compliance in local and foreign jurisdictions
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting
- Minimum experience of 3 years in accounting field
Following skills are required
- Accounting Standard knowledge (e.g. IFRS, US GAAP, and Local Accounting Standard)
- Experience preparing separated financial statements and foreign currency accounting
- Proficient PC skills, Accpac or ERP Software
- Communication and coordination skills
- Excel & presentation skills
