Nail Technician

Outline of role

As a Nail Technician you will be using your extensive knowledge and training to advise customers on products and nail care. You will be able to professionally administer nail products and techniques and delight customers with the results. You will be acting as an ambassador for the Superdrug brand and providing the best possible customer service.

Your experience with nail techniques makes you an expert in your field. You have a natural flair for skilfully applying nail polish and gel products.You have a thorough knowledge of nail hygiene and basic treatments such as manicures, cleaning and filing nails and general nail maintenance in order to give the best possible advice to our customers.You will be using your beauty experience and qualifications to raise awareness and sell our range of products. You will do this through supporting and developing a range of promotional activities to create interest and theatre within the store. You will have a natural flair for skilfully demonstrating and applying nail products.You will believe in our vision, mission and values and have excellent knowledge and passion for our products and services whilst driving sales opportunities.You will have the enthusiasm to continuously learn about new product launches and share this knowledge with your team to maximise sales and service.It is a great experience that will prepare you for even bigger challenges. Person specificationTo come on board as a Superdrug Nail Technician you will:Possess NVQ level 2 diploma in nail services / Level 2 certificate nail technologies or possess a relevant beauty qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).Show confidence in demonstrating and applying nail products including polish and gel.Be able to provide advice about looking after nails, and recommend nail care productsHave gained experienced promoting and selling products in a retail beauty environment.Be experienced in working in a fast paced environment actively working towards targets.Have a genuine passion for beauty products and possess the kind of friendly, positive personality that generates enthusiasm in potential customers.Possess effective communication skills and have the ability to coach and develop others.Keep up to date with fashion trends and be obsessive about looking fabulous.About our company
