Regional Recruitment Assistant – NHS Professionals
NHS Professionals is owned by the Department of Health and is the leading provider of managed flexible workforce services to the NHS. Simply, we provide more than 60,000 healthcare professionals including; nurses, doctors, midwives, allied health professionals and administrative staff to work shifts via our bank at our NHS Client Trusts across the UK.
We are at the forefront of developments in the temporary staffing market and due to recent substantial contract awards NHS Professionals are expanding our recruitment teams to a field-based function and are therefore looking for individuals to be involved in delivering these key client-focused developments.
The recruitment assistant will be involved in delivering all activities and processes to enable the attraction, registration and validation of health care workers, in response to local client demand. You will be in a unique position to contribute operationally to the delivery of our services to our client trusts.
Key objectives of the role include:
- To act as the initial point of contact, supporting flexible worker registration and validation activity based on client demand, including applicant engagement, screening, interviewing and document checking.
- Working on a face to face assessment and registration process, ensuring service delivery to the required timescales, KPI’s and quality standards.
- Championing the customer and implementing agreed programmes to improve customer satisfaction, enhancing our applicant experience by reducing the time to recruit through a professional focused delivery team.
- Represent NHS Professionals to client trusts and NHS Professionals flexible staff across a range of operational, recruitment, quality and complaints management processes.
You will have previous experience of working in client-facing, customer service roles, ideally with some knowledge of volume recruitment or similar managed service functions, and will have the knowledge and skills required to engage with clients at all stages of the registration process. Your experience will also include general office skills, a good standard of IT user knowledge as well as excellent written and spoken English.
Some travel may be required so you will need to be flexible with regards to work location, hours of work and overnight stays, in addition to having a full UK driving license. Please note that the initial induction period will require extensive travel and overnights stays for a maximum of 8 weeks.
