Role/Job title: Sales Floor Manager

Function/Department: Retail (Sales)

Location: London – Walworth

Reporting to: Branch Manager/ Area Manager

Hours per week: 40

We are a successful, established o2 Franchise operating a number of retail stores. We are looking to recruit an ambitious, dynamic and talented person for the position of Sales Floor Manager in our Walworth Road store!

Job purpose:

You will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the store. You will also provide direction and leadership for all store colleagues to maximise sales and profit of the store.

Customer Experience

You will deliver high levels of customer service and ensure that all transactions are completed with integrity and courtesy and that any customer enquiries or issues are resolved satisfactory

Develop yourself and others:

As part of your role you will be expected to

  • You will Conduct regular 121 and quarterly reviews with colleagues,
  • Encourage and support store colleagues with relevant training
  • Seek opportunities for own self development and take personal ownership of own training needs
  • Develop, create and retain a high calibre of staff
  • Communicate effectively to all store colleagues to ensure they are updated with all company communications and initiatives

Learning and Development

To support the implementation and execution of all new and existing products, as well as services training. Ensure that you are up to date with a diversity of products and services in your role model as a Brand Advocate of o2. You will be

Sales Performance

You will assist in achieving company targets by generating sales so that the store achieves profitable growth.

Compliance

To ensure all processes are consistently adhered to including contract and sales completion, stock and cash handling and completion of general administration tasks.

Retail Store Standards

To ensure the merchandising, appearance of the store, self and team is of the highest standard as per the requirements of the ‘store standards audit’.

Skills and Knowledge required

  • Experience of working in retail sales management
  • Ability to demonstrate proven results of achieving targets and key performance indicators
  • Clear communication skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Organisational and Planning skills
  • Ability to adapt and deliver in a fast paced environment
  • Experience of managing, developing and coaching a team
  • Ability to relate to staff at all levels and foster a team environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
